I bought this product to record interviews. I hate the moment I decided to buy this product. It is an absolute waste of money. It worked fine for about 10 interviews. But afterwards, it started showing "framesize negative value". I have lost precious information as a result. Now, it has started "looping" as well (to borrow the word some other reviewer used). After playing for a while, it starts to repeat from the beginning. PLEASE DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT'S A WASTE.

This product seems to work pretty good. The one thing that I really didnt like about it is that it is in VOC format, which seems to be almost impossible to playback on the computer. Most programs will not support that format. I finally found where I could download the RCA Digital Voice Manager and now I am able to listen to my recordings on the computer.

All I can say is "BUYER BEWARE". I've had my recorder (RP5022A) for nearly a year. It records great, but getting it transfered to your computer and then into a file that you can actually open without it saying "not a valid Win.32" is a major problem.

I purchased this device (RCA 64 MB Digital Voice Recorder, RP5022 ) for my daughter , and she loves it! She uses it every day, at school and when she needs to remind herself of memos. It was a little difficult to program at first, but once we did, it was pretty simple to operate. Overall, it was a great buy!

I purchased this thing about three weeks ago & it was working fine for me. One day I pulled it out to use it & pressed the play button to turn it on & the screen never changed/it wouldn't turn on. So I removed the batteries & put them back in. It worked for me after that. This morning I go to turn it on & the exact same thing happened again!! But this time it wouldn't turn back on. The only thing that happened was the screen had every possible display possible, displayed. So I am returning mine today, very unhappy since I am losing quite a bit of important information!!
