We bought this crib along with the Rocking Horse and four drawer dresser from Storkcraft. The color was not what we expected, and varies between each piece of furniture. Though the color is labeled as "oak", we found it to be more of a cherry pine color. The dresser has a lot more of a red color to it, probably because it is pressed wood, and so takes the color differently. The crib itself is beautiful. It is very sturdy, and looks very elegant. It was easy to put together, and was packaged well. Our little guy will be born in about four weeks, and we are very anxious to put him to sleep in his throne-for-a-bed!
Was e z to put together. But was missing one screw that was to hold up the mattress. Had to go to hardware store to get another.
Sturdy product, easy to assemble, and nice looking. Hopefully the transition to the full size bed will go well. Haven't tried it yet!
