Aspen Stages 3-in-1 Crib W/drw - Oak

After searching online for several hours, me and my wife finally selected this crib. The design and the multi use of the crib appealed to us. The instructions were well written and easy to follow. The bolts and nuts display were in actual sizes so when I was in doubt I simply picked up a bolt and placed it on top of the graphics to confirm that I had the right one. Every instructional should utilize this method when applicable. I assembled this crib by myself in under 2 hours. It's helpful to have two people when you get ready to attach the mattress support but it can be done by one person. Once finished I was very pleased with the solid sturdiness of this crib. It looks very good and we are pleased with our purchase.

Even before this product was recalled, the drawer fell apart, but the drawer barely holds anything anyhow. The crib itself has held up, and it looks nice enough, but I, too, have yet to receive the recalled parts although I called months ago. My son climbed out at 16 months.

My husband and I are having our 1st baby and the whole Aspen set (crib, 5 drawer dresser, & combination changing table/dresser) were all purchased for us as a gift. Baby hasn't arrived yet so I don't know how crib will hold up. The color is actually darker than the picture. It's probably closer to the cognac color. But it looks very good. Directions were simple to follow. We got the crib together in under an hour! It's very sturdy and the one hand drop side will come in handy, I'm sure. The true test will come when baby arrives!

My brother in law put it together, so I can't vouch for the ease of assembly, but it's a beautiful & sturdy piece of furniture. The drawer below is typical of ready to assemble accessories, as long as one does not put too much stress on it, it is perfect to hold all baby's bedding. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The only small glitch was that the crib was missing its assembly instructions, which were easily obtained online after calling the 1-800 number.

I am so happy with this crib. I spent a lot of time online comparing different brands, prices, and stores. I fell in love with this crib when I first saw it and Walmart had the lowest price anywhere, plus with site to store, we saved $60 on shipping. It took about 2 hours to put together and it turned out beautifully. It is sturdy and secure and I know that my little girl will get many years use out of it. The rail is easy to drop and lift back up and the drawer will provide extra storage for sheets or diapers. Love it!
