I'm a first time mom and this was a perfect starter kit for me. It let me get familiar with all the "basics" to start baby proofing and I just went and added the extra outlet plugs and other pieces I needed. For the price this is really a great place to start.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So when I first open the packaging I noticed that it was bent out to far for it to be able to latch shut. So I had to fix it before I could even try to use it. There was nothing wrong with the packaging it came in so I don't know if it got damage while it was on it's way in shipping to meor if it was something that happen at the plant before they packaged it into the box. Once I got it all setup and in a door in our house I noticed that I had to help it latch when it would swing back closed. Also the mechanism for the lock is really flimsy, wobbly and wasn't made high quality or throughout really good in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone in my opinion but maybe I just got the lemon out of the bunch of them. I like the swinging door with the magnet closure mechanism, adjustable legs with permanent discs for the legs that get secure to the wall, how study the rest of the gate is made and a pleasant color for the gate.

We purchased this gate to keep my son out of the kitchen now that he is crawling. Since travel between the kitchen and the living room has to happen multiple times a day it is great that this gate can be opened with one hand. We used the pressure mounting feature since we are currently renting this house and want to be able to take the gate with us without damage to the walls. My son has tried a few times to pull up on the gate and it has not moved at all. I also like the stay open feature so that once the little one is in bed we are able to leave the gate open for the adults. The mounting cups made this much easier to position. It did take two adults to get everything situated but that was expected in putting up a sturdy gate. This is definitely something that we would purchase again should the need arise.

My wife actually bought this gate online for when the grandchildren often visit. Simple to install but getting the tension dialed in right got tough to turn the discs. It is very sturdy - holds up to my grandson pulling on it. We like the hold open gate to walk through when they are not visiting. Nice looking gate.

There are a great deal of choices when it comes to baby gates, & all find one that is their favorite. This gate is mine. It's simple to install, nice to look at, pocket friendly, & super safe. Has a ton of user friendly features, & is easily cleaned when sticky fingers wrap around the bars. Would highly recommend to anyone looking.
