The product is a gel that contains benzocaine 20% and menthol 2% oral anesthetic analgesic to relieve pain. lt was easy to apply and left a cooling sensation, helping to soothe the canker sore. I would use this product for one off treatments of canker sores, but would be worried about long term use.
