eTrex Summit 010-00633-00 Handheld Navigator

Started with the basic Etrex years ago and moved up to the Summit HC because of the electronic compass and mapping availablitiy. Looking forward to taking it atving in the near future. Garmin products are very good and pricing keeps getting better.

We purchased this for a hunting trip in Montana. It was very easy to use and worked perfectly

This will be Fun to learn how much more this product will do then my old Garmin. I thk it will be more fun and will be more acurate. JIM

This does everything it says it does, is accurate to 25', and has an easy to read screen and is rugged. It doesn't have bells and whistles (and the space they wasted with the DUMBEST games ever is a shame, as they could have used that space way better - who plays games when geo-caching anyway?) But other than that, this is the BEST way to start out with handheld GPS systems. I love it. I highly recommend it if you can get by without color and topo maps - if you are geocaching, it's all you will ever need.

Meets my needs for what I do. I travel back country in Northern California via my jeep. Product allows my to find my turns, waypoints, etc with a high success rate. Product has a nice display, features, etc. Only drawback I have experienced is at a standstill it is not the most accurate. Overall I am happy with it.
