The tool was easy to use and reached deep into the drain, while the gel helped dissolve the buildup quickly. The packaging is convenient, and although the scent is strong, it's worth it for the results. It saved me from calling a plumber and offered great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this snake plus tool + gel system by Drano. I've had some standing water in the drain of my tub for quite some while. I was able to pull out some of the clog, but not all of it. I wish the snake wasn't so flimsy. The product does work because I can tell that the level where the water in the drain was did go down quite a bit. The product works, but the snake needs a redesign.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My sink was severely clogged and the smell was horrendous. the red snake that was provided didn't do anything. I also had to use a different snake to loosen the blockage but I did use the gel and the sink is draining normal now.

I like to use the snake first and get the hair out, then use the draino. It gets the hair out and then the draino makes my sink drain fast again. It is packaged without a lot of extra packaging, but just enough to keep it safely contained. It doesn't smell strong when pouring it, but I leave the room while I wait the 30 minutes. It always works the first time. I have to use it about every 6 months to keep my sink draining .
