Marie Callender's Frozen Mini Pie Dessert, 2 Mini Chocolate Satin Pies, 6 Ounce

Bought the mini pie because there is only two of us. Grandson raved about this pie. It was TERRIBLE! No chocolate pudding just DRY crumb crust topped with whipped cream.

I bought these two days ago 7/12/21 and the cream was all melted looking on top, which I could get over living in Texas and trying to get anything frozen. HOWEVER, when I stuck my spoon it and pulled it out expecting custard and then crust- I got a massive wad of chocolate dust that then blew everywhere. This is horrible like it wasn't mixed with the liquid at the factory to make it into the pudding. Then below that there wasn't even a “crust” layer. I bought several boxes of there and am gonna have to throw them out because this is horrible and a wast of money.

Bought these for a little birthday treat, the outside of the container (inside the box) isn't clean, it's sticky and these are nothing like Chocolate Satin, there's barely any filling and the 'crust' is just powder.

This little individual pie is a great concept. The flavor is good but the problem is the execution. This pie is about 3.5-4 inches in diameter and about 2 inches deep. All pictures representing the product show what appears to be a flat bottom cookie crust of perhaps 3/8" when in fact is it 1"+ and not just the bottom but travels up the sides. The actual chocolate silk filling is only between 3/8 - 1/2" and the whipped cream on top makes up the difference. The cookie crumb crust has no crust consistency but rather devolves to a dusty granular consistency when you stick a fork in to get a bite. When you pull the fork out, it goes everywhere when the fork travels between the container to your mouth. The overall quality is not deserving of the Marie Callender's brand name...I expected more ! Sadly I would hesitate to recommend the individual serve size to anyone.

We bought this for our Valentine's Day dessert and it was a disappointment. There was very little “silk” and the crust was nothing more than crumbs. Not what we usually get from Marie Callendar.
