I had this grill a day and tried to grill chicken legs on it, but it took forever and they werent even done. The manual only lists boneless meats to cook, so if you have a George, you dont need this. Otherwise it would be good for boneless meats. I took mine back because I have my George which is much faster.

I really like this grill. It is perfect for me, however, I dont like the idea of putting water in the bottom. The water sometimes leaks and you cant move the grill once you put water in the bottom. Maybe if the grill had legs and the pan at the bottom was a little deeper it was would be easier.

The best feature of the product is its excellent value for money. For the price you pay you get an appliance that does a good job. But frankly i think the grill surface itself could have been of better quality, heavier with more solid grill rails. The wattage should definitely have been higher too. This would have raised the price slightly. I would not mind paying a little more for an improved version of this. But then again Sanyo could have priced that attractively for its features. This is good for grilling fish, vegetables and maybe boneless chicken. Food comes out tasting pretty good. But it doesnt taste anything like food grilled on charcoal or gas grills. This is a completely different form of cooking, "electric grill cooking". But this is a good healthy option.

I was very happy with this grill. It gets up to temperature quickly and does a great job on steaks and pork chops. I was expecting it to be much easier to clean. It just takes time to clean the grill, drip pan, and the base after cool down. Also some of the black protective coating on the drip pan is already peeling off. I've only used it 5 times so far but very pleased with the grilling of meat and it does it quickly. If only the cleaning was little easier...

I gave this Sanyo Large Indoor Grill a 5 Star Rating in each category because it truly is an awesome indoor/outdoor grill! At first, I thought it would not be sturdy enough, but have found out that it is actually quite durable. And the way it cleans up is incredible! The meat & grill spray residue just seemed to melt off of it as I was washing it. For my family & me, this grill has been a very pleasurable experience & I think the best part is that we have absolutely no trouble whatsoever with our Smoke Detectors going off when we use it. It is also virtually smoke-free -- as advertised. There is some smoke but not much at all due to the drip pan; this is mainly why we prefer to use this broil pan grill as opposed to our stovetop grill. Of course, the taste of the food is even better, not to mention, quicker & much less hassle than using a charcoal grill, in my opinion. Our Fourth of July hamburgers & hot dogs were the best!! I cannot wait to make grilled-cheese sandwiches on it. So kudos to the people at Sanyo!!!!
