Lansinoh Postpartum Care Spray, 4 Percent Lidocaine, 3.5 Ounces

From lanolin to nursing pads and milk storage bags, Lansinoh has never let me down. When I heard about their postpartum care products, I knew I wanted to give them a try. I recently had my third baby. The hospital provided a numbing spray after the delivery of my first two babies, however this time they did not. I was so thankful I had the Lansinoh Pain Relief Spray. The spray truly gave instant cooling relief! Another benefit that I was not expecting is that it didn't leave a greasy residue like the other numbing sprays I have tried in the past. It was also easy to apply because it sprays from any angle. I like that the ingredients are clearly listed and that it includes natural elements like aloe and essential oils. It's also reassuring to know it has been tested by both dermatologists and gynecologists. Without a doubt, this Lansinoh Pain Relief Spray has made my recovery a much more manageable experience. It's great for pain relief, especially if you pair it with the Lansinoh cold pack. The spray really does work at any angle, even upside down! I found it a little hard to aim the spray in exactly the right spot if I was sitting on the toilet so I found I prefer to stand with one foot on the tub when I apply the spray. I'm glad I was given this lidocaine spray to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The pain relief was comparable to other name brand sprays given in the hospital as well. It worked quickly and I loved that testing was done so I feel safe using it. As a mom of two, who experienced the birth of big babies and had tearing, it was definitely nice to know that it was tested since the area is so sensitive. Stellar Product Testing Panel was great about including me in this product testing opportunity since I'm a new mom again! Definitely plan to recommend this product to all of my expecting mama friends as well!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this lidocaine spray to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Started using this 4 weeks postpartum. It takes a few minutes to start working after you spray it on. Try to avoid getting it inside vagina though, may potentially cause irritation if you do because this is for external use. Doesn't completely numb the area, but definitely helps with the pain.

I was about 3 weeks postpartum when it arrived and had not had much luck in relief products up to that point. This product was easy to use and effective. It works immediately when you apply it. The only aspect that I don't care for is that I have to spray it directly on - and that can be a little shocking at first, especially because it's cold! I did try spraying it onto the sanitary napkin I was using and that worked fine but it was most effective when sprayed directly on.
