Disliked how every roll was wrapped differently with another set of wire. Almost as it was done by hand by several different people. Some of them were easy to take off while others were tangled in the square grids. Over all, you just need a set of small garden shears to get it unrolled.
This has worked nicely for my garden. It is strong enough to stand on its own. Keeps the critters out and I actually used some to have some of my flowers vine up on the fencing. The materials seem to be of high quality and I didn't find any flaws Overall I am pleased with this and have no complaints and would purchase again
I received the Expert Gardener Galvanized Steel Hardware Cloth for free for testing and submitting a review. I really like the galvanized gardening cloth because it works well for my many gardening projects. I used some of it for my tomato plants to hold them upright.
I used this to protect my sweet pea and hibiscus bush since they are just growing. This keeps out the rabbits without looking gawdy or encasing the plant too much. It's pliable and easy to work with and I can keep reusing it. I will be purchasing this item again
We have an old drain catch that runs under the house, it is at the bottom of the driveway right before the entrance of the garage. We have two issues that the Expert Gardener Hardware Cloth has solved. One: We often get a lot of water come down after a rainstorm or snow melt which generally the catch works as expected but sometimes it gets clogged with leaves, dirt, small twigs and street debris. The heavier than normal rain fall this year, and Autumn running a bit longer than usual has created an extended issue for us. We have a sloping driveway with a garage under the house, when that water comes any debris that is in the road inevitably finds it's way to the grate. Two: We have a critter issue. We live in the wetlands where field mice, chipmunks, frogs, snakes, and rats are common place. Yuck, yuck and yuck. We have had a few critters slip in through the grate, through the pipe and into an interior drain that runs under the house foundation and back up into an interior catch. We have tried a few other fixes with not much luck, this seems to work. I laid it under the grate so the weight of it would keep the Expert Gardener Hardware Cloth in place, it works great! The 1/2 inch mesh Catches the unwanted debris, makes it easier to remove it yet still let the water flow through without pooling. Yippy, no ore mice coming in to visit!!! Once the weather gets warmer I plan on wrapping the grate completely with the cloth for added protection it's just too cold right now to fiddle with that.
