I am lactose intolerant. This Great Value product removes the lactose %26 tastes great! It is also less expensive than similar products. Living solely on Social Security, price is an important consideration, as is taste. I was Dairy Princess in my youth and can't bear to give up milk. This Great Value product insures that I can keep drinking milk. Also my nutritionist said I should always drink whole milk.
I so Love this milk, the lactose in milk will give me the cramps and of course gas. My niece told me about this milk and since then I'm there. I can eat a bowl of cereal late at night, pb%26j with a glass of milk. My only problem is I've brought the gallon of this milk and doesn't last as long as it should the few times I have purchased the gallon I've had to dispose of over half so I don't purchase a
My first time buying this kind of milk. I responded better with this milk than the plain whole milk. I rather have this product in a gallon size container. I'd buy again but I rather in a gallon size. I'm glad that this milk tasted and functioned like whole milk. I made an excellent hot chocolate with this milk. The texture of this milk is exactly like whole milk. Its expiration date is later than the plastic gallon milk. It's a good beverage alone, too. I assume the calories and the nutritional value are tge same as regular whole milk.
I started buying lactose free milk when I had G.I. problems… Totally amazed that this taste no different than regular vitamin D milk… If you have issues, I highly recommend the milk… Even 2% is very good… I actually drink it straight out of the carton
I love whole milk, but my body says no these days. This milk let's me still have milk with less issues. It's not truly lactose free (there's an enzyme added), and I don't like I have to pay even more, but I'm glad this exists. The taste to me is slightly sweeter but it's still reasonably "creamy".
