LG - CineBeam PH30N 720p Wireless DLP Projector - White

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a friend bring over a projector and was amazed at the portability and screen resolution so I had to get my own. My budget was on the lower end so I opted for the LG PH30N. It's compact size makes it super portable and I had mine up and playing videos in minutes. It's now my master bedroom TV. The color saturation is a little lacking after comparing with a few other models and the size of the screen output solely depends on the distance of the projector from the wall which provides some limitations. Overall, I am happy with my purchase. I purchased a Bluetooth soundbar and projector screen and can enjoy an almost cinematic experience with this setup. I don't regret this purchase especially at this awesome pricepoint,

However, the fan noise is louder that I would like, and I have had to send it in to get serviced. The bulb or lens has an issue where it cast additional light off to the side causing the corner of the projection to be less in contrast.

I got this for Christmas to replace a broken RIF 6 mini projector (their customer service is terrible and they told me they could not help with a repair or replacement). The PH30N is just a little bigger, sleeker even with the cords and way easier to get going. We paired it with an Apple TV and a mini speaker and it's image and sound is very clear. It floods our living room wall and feels like we're at a movie theater.

The battery powered projector with a Chromecast connected made it easy to pick up and take outside. Paired with our bluetooth speaker we had great sound that wasn't too loud for the neighbors. The projector is very easy to operate and the picture quality is great for the price. Next up for us is a blowup projector so we can up our game and take it along to parties with us. This projector provides a lot of entertainment options.
