Handi-Foil Aluminum Foil Giant Oval Roaster, 16" x 13.12" x 3.12", 1 Count

A hole wore in the bottom from sliding it on the oven rack a few times. Ended up being ok but definitely not what I expected.

This roasting pan is extra large (see the photo) and should fit most large turkeys. Pan Size: 16 in. x 13 1/8 in. x 3 1/8 in. (40.6 cm x 33.3 cm x 7.9 cm). It is heavy weight, but you should always lift this pan from the bottom when there is a bird in there. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO LIFT THIS PAN FROM THE SIDES - It is heavy weight, but it's a disposable pan. And if there is a lot of liquid in the pan you will want to remove as much as possible before lifting out of the oven. An added bonus is that it is made from 100% recycled aluminum and it could actually last you for several roastings. It actually shipped without any damage.

There are several things that I appreciated about this Handi Foil giant rack roaster. To start with it was delivered well packaged & protected so there was no dents or areas crushed. Personally I like the fact that it is made in the USA and that it's made of 100% recycled aluminum. I have used other giant aluminum rack roasters in the past but this one is thicker and sturdier than others I've tried. For safety reasons I usually place any aluminum roaster on a large cookie sheet and remove the juices with a baster. I roasted a large whole chicken in this giant rack roaster then when finished it cleaned out nicely & I'm able to use it again for my Thanksgiving turkey! I've never been able to do this with any other aluminum roasting pan! I definitely would recommend this!

First, I love the fact that the label says “ made in the USA” . That makes the turkey rack extra special and dear to my heart not to mention that it's 100% made from recycled aluminum! The tray is very very strong and can hold a heavy large turkey. I'm planning to use it this thanksgiving . I'm having a smaller turkey this year but planning to have a lot of vegetables and potatoes outside of the turkey with I think would be perfect for this oven roaster rack. I think for larger turkeys you can still do have vegetables surrounding the turkey but obviously not that much due to the size but could definitely withstand the weight but should not be picked up from the sides. It should be picked up with support from the bottom and be very careful with the juices.This turkey rack can most definitely be used year after year. I usually throw mines out every year but this one can hold out a few years just from experience and comparing to others I have used

The Handy Foil giant roaster pan is indeed giant sized. I roasted a 20 lb. turkey in it and still had a lot of room left over. It is very sturdy but it recommended putting it on a pan which I did for safety. Handy to use and no roasting pan to wash! I will be using these from now on. Saves so much work and time on clean up. (Recommended by manufacturer to rinse and recycle) I recommend this product.
