Graco Hc Mealtime Gecko

I bought this years ago. One child used it and now it was to be handed down to another, Except I am unable to buy a replacement seat cover. Why is that?

I bought this high chair for my grandson due next month. I have used the mealtime before at a child care center a couple years ago and absolutely live this chair. The different levels, the reclines, easy to clean and fold away. I had to have this high chair for my grandbaby.

I received this chair as a gift. I didn't state a preference other than I wanted the tray to be removable and easy to clean. This chair fits that description; I like the removable tray and the extra tray liner insert is a nice feature for cleaning up or switching out big messes in the middle of a meal. However, the fact that the chair is height-adjustable and collapsible are not features I use or need, but they cause the chair to take up a great deal of floor space due to how far the legs spread out. It has a very wide base. I would have preferred a chair with a smaller footprint to take up less space. Also, the fact that the chair reclines is another feature I haven't used and don't really need, but this means that the padded plastic lining has to be able to adjust to different recline levels. Because of this, when the seat is in the fully upright position, the plastic lining has little pocket gaps on the sides, which food, of course, regularly finds its way into! These extra crevices in the lining make it less easy to give the chair a quick wipe down after eating, because you have to search for food that's fallen down the sides behind the lining. I thought I would share my experience in case it is helpful to someone out there! It is a good chair, seems to be well made and will work just fine for us, but there are a few things I wish were different.

We used this type of high chair for my child and it did exactly what we needed. Easily to move and put up and easy to be cleaned. We know babies are learning to eat so a little mess is to be expected. So being able to wipe and clean easily was nice. My child enjoys and always runs right up to it when it's time to eat she enjoys it!!

I love this highchair, it is still in excellent condition. I bought it back in 2012 and wash the seat pad every 2 weeks. The seat pad is very easy to remove. The double tray is also a good feature. It folds up for storage. I just ordered the replacement seat pad as my daughter is expecting a baby.
