Ball Home Canning Basics Kit

I ordered this canning set on line, it cost $54.00 (not including tax), my husband at the same time went to Wal-Mart and bought same thing for $18.00, big difference in price, naturally when mine came in I sent it back. We have used the canner several times, only compliant I have is the basket you set the jars in, the metal is starting to flake. Love all the extra gadgets that came with it like the magnet to pick up lids and rings (believe me those can get pretty hot, nice to have magnet to pick them up. I love canning, reminds me of my Mother and Grandmothers)

Great kit for first time learners of canning foods. Everything is there to get you started. My biggest worry was how to can food without causing some kind of bacteria. the book and equipment took all the worries out. Must buy for anyone that is just learning.

This kit provided everything I needed for canning my pickles,squash,peppers and other veggies I grew fresh from my garden, and in less than one week my kit arrived at the onsite store all my canning is done on time.

i have never done any canning before and found this product online i checked around this was a good price for all that you get and it does just what it suppost the book tell you all you need to know and makes it easy to do and i would recommend to anyone just learning to can.

I just started canning my homegrown vegies on my own...I was using my friends canning supplies until I bought this kit from WalMart. The price was right and was everything I needed to can my tomatoes. I highly recommend this canning kit.
