Nasoya Vegan Kimchi

Not sure what this is, but it's not kimchi. Yes, it's cabbage. Yes, it's preserved. But it is not "spicy" as advertised and it tastes like garlic? Might go well with Italian food possibly, but it shouldn't be called kimchi, because it's really not.

My boyfriend and I are Korean, raised on Korean food and I picked this kimchi up to make kimchi jjigae (stew). I opened it up - it looked and smelled right. I made the jjigae and it tasted great.

It's pretty bad. The texture is grainy with an overall dis-pleasant taste. I ate maybe 4 bites and threw it away. On a positive note, the packaging was nice.

I dont understand the bad reviews. I tried and it taste just like the best kimchi I had a long time ago. I guess everyone has different taste. I recommend trying to see for yourself.

I LOVE this stuff. My whole family was raving about it too. I just added it to an Asian Salad, but I could eat it all by itself.
