The thread jams often, probably due to the fact that the bobbin case is so cheaply made.

My second Singer Heavy Duty. I gifted my first one and wanted another. Had the first one for many years and it was still in excellent working condition when I gave it away. My new Heavy Duty came with an extension table, which my old machine did not have. You get a nice assortment of feet included. Would highly recommend if you want an something with a powerful motor, affordable, and a basic mechanical sewing machine that will last.

This Singer machine is so easy to use. If I'd known how much it would help my sewing to have a GOOD tool like this, I would have bought one much sooner. I haven't used it yet. I am scheduled for the two hour training session provided by the seller with a local company. That is a great feature that comes with the machine. This way I get started right with the machine. I look forward to to it and then get started on my sewing project s.
