Singer 64S Heavy Duty Sewing Machine with Extension Table

This handles heavy duty materials like boat canvas and leather great. It has strong piercing power and sews very quickly and accurately. I would recommend this to anyone who had had at least some prior experience with a machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Singer sewing machine to give sewing another try. It takes some time learning how to thread it correctly and make your bobbins. I have been trying to use it everyday to start getting the hang of it. Right now I am enjoying just playing around with it and trying out all the different stitch patterns on some material I bought. Once I find a pattern for some chair covers that will be the my first sewing project. The sewing machine is light and has a handle on the top for easy carrying. It comes with some accessories and has a small tray to store them in. It even comes with a light weight cover for it.

So easy to use and follow directions.

After glueing the ends together didn't work, I started sewing them by hand. I decided to get a sewing machine to make the sewing, easier and faster. I am in the beginning stages of using this machine, but so far it has been relatively easy to use. Being a bit old school, I wish the machine came with a paper manual. However, the online manual has been easy to use. The pictures accompanying the instructions are also very helpful for beginners like me. Having no prior sewing machine experience, it took me about 30 minutes to wind the bobbin, thread the needle and make a basic stitch. The Singer website also has a ton of useful videos and tutorials that I have been watching, to learn how to sew. Overall I am very glad that I got this sewing machine. I think that over time, with all the resources and accessories that Singer offers, this will be a great addition to my home business.

Singer is by far the best This is a heavy duty sewing machine that will sew denim or canvas and it's also versatile enough to sew lightweight sheers! It has a powerful motor and sees at a high speed..if you want. It's very lightweight for easy mobility. Excellent for all your sewing needs. I highly recommend this product!!
