If you are OK using an air walker that uses body weight without additional resistance, this is perfect for you. I am 6' 205 lbs and just did 2500 steps in 30 min, it slightly squeaks with each step when you're pushing it that hard, but when wearing earbuds, it's not heard. I was very impressed with how well it held up for the cost. Highly recommend!

Sunny Health Air Walker is, well..., like walking on air! So easy to get on and simply walk. The stride can be short or long - you control it. The read out meter clock states calories burned, distance, number of strides. The lightweight-ness of the machine is NOT a bad thing. My 6"4" 240 lb hubby easy uses the Air Walker. He feels stable while walking and that the machine is sturdy. Assembly - The package was so easy to carry up to two flights of stairs (live in a townhouse) and took minutes to assemble. I did include the tummy rest which does help balance when leaning forward to change up the resistance. This is quiet, easy to use, don't have to turn up the tv or wear headphones while working out. The amount of floor space (when assembled) the Air Walker needs is 17" x 26".

The fitness trainer came with great reviews, which I always check before I spent the money on something like this. I wanted something that I could use in my living room, instead of having to put the money into a gym membership I probably wouldn't use all that often. It came way before the time the email specified, which made me a very happy camper. On top of that, it was incredibly easy to put together, only taking me about 30 minutes. It came with the proper tools, instructions, and even a battery for the little counter. It's really easy and fun to use, and I've only had to retighten a couple of the screws once since I've had it. Can be moved relatively easily, and it's small enough to be stored in a closet if you really needed to get it out of your way!

This product is exactly what I needed to "walk" in my small apartment. It arrived swiftly after I ordered it and has become part of my daily life's exercise. One adjustment I made, however, was to remove the stomach pad to enable me to walk easier and without restriction.

this is perhaps designed for an extreme beginner; I can't get my heartrate up. In terms of whether I'd recommend this for a beginner, my major problem with the machine (as noted by the other reviewers) is that the arms do not attach properly. It was assembled by an experienced person & we tried extra washers but couldn't find a thickness that would stop the wobbling. I'm probably going to return this.
