I bought these tires for my 2003 cadillac deville ,these are the smoothest riding, longest lasting tires i have ever owned . The only problem i have had is i am constantly adding air to them ,i took the car back had them checked nothing wrong with them. I rotate them on a regular basis .Living in minnesota i have never had a problem driving in the winter with these tires Great job Michelin.
The Symmetry tires came with my 2005 Cadillac DeVille. They have functioned smoothly, with a good ride. At 58,000 miles I decided to renew them and bought the exact replacements. Of course there was some difference, but the smoothness and controllability was sustained. These are the best tires that I have ever owned in almost 60 years of car ownership.
I have been using Michelin products over 30 years and very please with the choice. My first car was installed with Michelin tire from dealer that caught me. It was the x radial product and it served over 100k miles. I used another band due to availability of Michelin one time, I can feel the different on driving. That set of tire did not serve me well. Since then, I stay with Michelin as much as possible for cars in my household.
I have used this particular tire on my 1999 Mercury Gran Marquis, since I have had the car. This is my second set, the first set lasted 55,000 miles. It is a good riding tire and very quiet, compared to others. I also use this tire on my wife's 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. She is happy with its performance. It is within the price range that I would spend on tires. I think it is a great value for the wear and performance I require.
My Original Michelin tires gave me 52 miles per gallon on my 2006 Prius. With the new tires I am now lucky to get 45 miles per gallon even with the air pressure set at 44 psi. I also changed from air to nitrogen at the time the new tires were mounted and that did not help with my gas mileage. The new tires seem to be wearing well and uniform I have them rotated Every 5000 miles.
