Product Details

Michelin HydroEdge Tire Delivering impressive wet and snow traction and ultra-long mileage with the latest technology. Michelin?s longest lasting passenger tire, the HydroEdge offers an amazing 90,000-mile warranty, modern aesthetics, and better wet braking than the leading competitors. Featuring Michelin?s MaxTouch Construction, the HydroEdge has a unique contact patch shape that evenly distributes the forces of acceleration, braking, and cornering. A silca-based compound and wide center-groove design create a sure-grip tread, helping the HydroEdge to stop up to 14 feet shorter in wet weather conditions versus competitors. Employing Michelin?s EnergySaver Construction, the tires deliver excellent fuel efficiency by requiring less effort from your engine, while the dual circumferential center grooves and high-angle HydroChutes combine to pump water from under the tire's footprint to enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction.

I have wrung the last bit of tread off these great tires and look forward to a new set in the spring. Not only did these tires provide some unbelievable wet traction performance here in the Lower Mainland, but with regular rotation and proper inflation I was able to get over 180,000kms out of these bad boys!

All Michelin tires we have used on our cars have been excellent and have last 5 years before we need new ones. The drive very smoothly when we aren't in Toronto they run very smoothly. Outside of Toronto they are excellent but in Toronto it's bump bump.

HydroEdge handle incredibly well under normal conditions, but when they hit wet roads or slicks they really show what they're made of! I've avoided hydroplaning and managed to maintain control under circumstances where other tires would fail miserably.

I have had these tires for approx. 12 months and have driven through all weather conditions - rain, dry, snow, ice. These tires have been excellent in all conditions and helped me get through some very difficult situations. I would definitely buy these tires again, and have recommended them to family and friends.

I now have my second set of Hydro Edge tires on a different vehicle than the first- a 99 Montana Van. Immediately I noticed better handling, especially on ramps and off ramps to highways. My braking was much more controlled and firmer. Ride volume inside the cabin was lower than the other brand that was on the vehicle previously. I would not hesitate to recommend these tires to anyone.
