Michelin HydroEdge Tire Delivering impressive wet and snow traction and ultra-long mileage with the latest technology. Michelin?s longest lasting passenger tire, the HydroEdge offers an amazing 90,000-mile warranty, modern aesthetics, and better wet braking than the leading competitors. Featuring Michelin?s MaxTouch Construction, the HydroEdge has a unique contact patch shape that evenly distributes the forces of acceleration, braking, and cornering. A silca-based compound and wide center-groove design create a sure-grip tread, helping the HydroEdge to stop up to 14 feet shorter in wet weather conditions versus competitors. Employing Michelin?s EnergySaver Construction, the tires deliver excellent fuel efficiency by requiring less effort from your engine, while the dual circumferential center grooves and high-angle HydroChutes combine to pump water from under the tire's footprint to enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction.

1998 Accord, 137,000 miless. After market wheels wearing P205/65R15's. Always have puchased Michelins for my many Hondas since 1982, altogether over a million miles. Drive around town and on the Interstates, like most people. Lived in the South for 30 years, then came "back home" to Ohio in 2005. Hydroedge snow traction promise was attractive, and has been good. But the noise is driving me nuts; wet or dry, the waddle-waddle starting at about 35 mph is too much, especially on an old Honda which are known to transmit road noise. I bought these just over 6 months ago, and wish there was a way to trade back into normal Michelins that don't try to sing me to sleep as I drive.

The same week I placed the Michelin HydroEdge tires on my 2000 Nissan Altima, I had to make an emergency stop. A truck pulling a trailer pulled out in front of me at an intersection where i had the green light. I credit the Michelin HydroEdge tires for stopping my car quickly without skidding at all.

Best tire for the Chrysler 300, Had to replace factory tire at 30,000 miles. Put top of line GY after 8000 miles couldn't hear the radio with the tire noise. Replaced them with the Michelin HydroEdge, man what a difference. I've put 14,000 on these and they sound and handle like I just put them on. Great increase in gas mileage, handles wet & snow like it has 4 wheel drive. I'll never buy another brand.

I'm on my second set of Hydroedge Tire on my car (2001 Ford Taurus SES). They performed so well that I bought an exact replacement set. Overall, the most notable features of this tire on my car are improved handling and increased confidence in stopping on wet surfaces. These tires have also seemed to improve fuel economy and efficiency, as long as you properly maintain them (eg. rotation and keep at proper pressure).

Excellent tire. First set had MAJOR dry rot. Since only 20% of the tire had been used, Michelin warranteed the tires and covered 80% of the cost. I have been very pleased with the tires overall. As it was described to me, the tires that I had must have been defective, based on the severity of the dry rot and the amount of tread left. I have always bought Michelins and will continue to in the future as my wife's car needs new tires soon. Thanks Michelin!!
