Michelin HydroEdge Tire Delivering impressive wet and snow traction and ultra-long mileage with the latest technology. Michelin?s longest lasting passenger tire, the HydroEdge offers an amazing 90,000-mile warranty, modern aesthetics, and better wet braking than the leading competitors. Featuring Michelin?s MaxTouch Construction, the HydroEdge has a unique contact patch shape that evenly distributes the forces of acceleration, braking, and cornering. A silca-based compound and wide center-groove design create a sure-grip tread, helping the HydroEdge to stop up to 14 feet shorter in wet weather conditions versus competitors. Employing Michelin?s EnergySaver Construction, the tires deliver excellent fuel efficiency by requiring less effort from your engine, while the dual circumferential center grooves and high-angle HydroChutes combine to pump water from under the tire's footprint to enhance hydroplaning resistance and wet traction.

Had these tires for about 15000 miles. Wear like iron, good traction...but they roar like tank treads!!! I have them on a minvan where the trunk does not isolate the tire noise, and wow, it is impossible to hold a conversation at highway speeds. Tires wearing normally, they are just loud loud loud. Other Michelin's are much better.

I have a 2009 Taurus AWD. I have put 25,000 miles on these tires. They handle fine and the wear has been decent, however they have significant road noise and the ride is way to firm for my liking. My dealer said these tires would ride well and were quiet. This is definetly not the case..........my Michelin X ice winter tires are actually quieter. Had I know this I would have purchased the Michelin Harmony or the Defender brand which "I am told" is much quieter and has a comfortable ride. I am now left trying to get the dealer to take these on trade.

Had to retire my HydroEdges today! I have been using Micheline tires since 1985. Before then had used several of the other big name brand tires or what ever came on the new vehicles I had bought. Started using Michelin and have never looked back! Had these tires on my 2004 Grand Prix GT. Got 90,000+ miles out of these tires. Overall performance outstanding. Cornering was awesome. Wet weather performance great! Common sense driving in snow was good. Have always felt safe driving with Micheline's!

I live in Florida where the rain is often pouring. It is not unusual to get an inch or more in a very short time period. My work commute takes me over a very large bridge and I am comforted to know that these tires will keep thier grip and not hydroplane. I have gone thru some very deep streets due to flooding with excellent traction! I love these tires we bought 3 sets for all our cars!

I purchased Michelin Hydroedge tires for my Lexus eight months ago. They have exceeded my expectations. They replaced a set of highly rated replacement tires from another brand that were a disappointment because of noise, ride comfort and rapid wear. The Hydroedge tires are slightly quieter than the OEtires were, and ride and handling is somewhat better. I am very happy with the wet weather handling and braking ability that I have now. I see very little wear now with over 12,000 miles. I know what I will specify when I replace the tires on my other car a few months from now.
