I really like the look of this dresser with the curvy lines. I like the top of the dresser having a back to it so things don't fall off. It is a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but that is my own fault for not paying attention to the dimensions! The drawers seem really small. Ahh the drawers. The bane of my existence. Putting this dresser together was a BEAST. The directions are not very specific not to mention that only the legs are labeled so that you don't get the front/back and left/right mixed up. But that's it. You have to be SUPER careful and look at the diagrams very well or you can easily make a mistake. Back to the drawers. The runners that you have to put on do not run the full length of the drawer. The diagram shows that they do. So, it took me trial and error to figure out exactly where to put the runners so that the drawer would go in all the way. Maybe someone could have figured this out just by looking at it and using logic but I could not. So, if you get this and you run in to this problem, let me tell you the runners go towards the front of the drawer, not the back or middle. And there are no "pre drilled holes" in the drawers for the runners as the directions claim there is, so you can't use this as a reference. There are also no pre drilled holes for the backing. The top are the easiest to get in as they just screw into particle board but still be careful because it doesn't line up well and you can split the wood easily. You still have to use a good amount of strength to get the screws in and even more so for the bottom and side. Needless to say, I did not use all the screws to secure the thing, just two on each side/bottom/top just enough to secure it. It took me close to 5 hours to assemble this on my own with a half hour snack break. While this is a nice looking dresser there are many pitfalls to putting it together and the drawers are not very deep. I don't see how a child could use this much past 8 years old when their clothes start to get bigger faster and multiply faster.

The product completely put together is rather cute for a little girls room. But the quality is the main problem. The drawers are definitely the worse. You could literally here the fiber board, or whatever cheap plywood it is made of, splitting as you gently screw on the tracks. I did actually have two drawers completely split at the screw even those I was very careful. I was able to use some wood glue, clamp it together, and let it dry... I believe this should hold. Also, the handles are very cheap and have nicks and dents in the wood. Definitely not worth the $200+ I paid for it.

I purchased the crib first was was ver impressed with the quality. But the dresser arrived and as I was putting it together found several flaws. The drawers themselves looked like the parts had been lying around in the warehouse and stepped on and the paper coating was warped but since they were to be hidden in the chest I wasn't to concerned but the drawer rails are too short and the drawer comes off of the tracks if you pull it out too far. Since the tracks are too short the drawers only open partially! This thing is junk! RUN, DO NOT BUY IT!!!

This a beutiful peice. It took my husband about 1 1/2 hrs to put it together. The drawers were a little time consuming but the directions were simple and very explanatory. I'm very pleased with the purchase.

A couple of the pieces were split in the areas where the screws go and after assembling the entire dresser there was a big gap between the first and second drawers. It was a very pretty dresser though after it was put together and looked very nice in the nursery.
