Beatrice Combo Hutch

Free hutch with dresser. Handled very poorly while being delivered to the store for pickup.

I have been wanting a changing table/hutch like this since I saw one at Pottery Barn several years ago. This pregnancy I was determined to find something in an affordable price range. This hutch and changing table are fantastic. I have received so many compliments and no one can believe the price. My husband complained that it was no easy to set up (and he used to be a contractor!) and definitely not as easy as something from Ikea but he was able to do it and the changing table in about 4 hours. Overall I am incredibly happy with it. My one complaint is that it doesn't fit my changing table pad exactly. It is a little on the small side (by about 2-3 inches) so I have to stuff it in there. It will work but this seems like a design flaw as my changing pad is a standard size so it should be too.

I ordered the dresser hutch combo from walmart.com. I wasnt expecting anything nice, I just wanted it to match my other furniture (espresso.) My Dad put this together for me, he said it took several hours. It's WAY nicer than I ever expected for the price. It goes nice with my other espresso furniture HOWEVER, it is slightly DARKER than the other furniture. I also bought the Baby Mod Cadence Crib, and it looks nice with it!! I would recommend!

I am happy with the way the hutch looks assembled...however, the stains do not match very well and (the side of the dresser that is higher) we had to use a table saw to make the hutch fit on top of the dresser. My husband had to cut off an inch and a half of wood on the right side shorter board. Otherwise it was crooked and did not sit right on the dresser. You also have to buy a 30 in changing pad (which of course you have to order and can't just pick up at a store). Now that it is all together it looks nice...it was just a pain.

I read from other viewers that they felt that this hutch seemed like it didn't go with the storkcraft changing table/dresser combo it was supposed to match. I didn't understand that until we put it together. It seems slanted when we finally set it on the dresser. It's really annoying because if it wasn't for the slight slanting it would be perfect. I'm slightly dissapointed. I'm not going to take it back, because my fiance is going to change one of the sides so it's no longer slanted, but it should have come in the box that way! Especially since these two items are supposed to be sold as a unit. I am very happy with the dresser part though!
