Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Ep. 070: Shakaar When the first Minister of the Bajoran Provisional Government dies, Kai Winn (Louise Fletcher) is appointed to replace him. As the new leader of Bajor, Winn asks Kira (Nana Visitor) to return to her homeland to help reclaim some stolen farm equipment from Shakaar (Duncan Regehr), the former leader of her resistance cell during the occupation. Kira is reluctant to go up against a friend, but agrees to encourage Shakaar to meet with Winn and negotiate a peaceful settlement. But when two security officers arrive to arrest Shakaar, Kira realizes it's a trap and helps him escape. Fugitives once again, Shakaar, Kira and their comrades must take to the mountains and resume their fight for freedom.
