After joining the Enabran Tain (Paul Dooley) and the Cardassian-Romulan Alliance, Garak's (Andrew Robinson) first order of business is to extract whatever information about the Founders Odo (Rene Auberjonois) may possess. Meanwhile, on the station, the crew prepares for a retaliatory strike by the Jem'Hadar, the Dominion's soldiers. As the Alliance forces set a course for the Founder's homeworld, Sisko (Avery Brooks) readies the Defiant for a mission to rescue Odo. When the Alliance warships arrive at the Founder's homeworld they find the planet deserted and 150 Jem'Hadar battle cruisers waiting. Now the die has been cast and all that remains to be seen is who will survive the greatest conflagration in Federation history!.
