I bought this after my Acer Iconia (I do NOT recommend) died. it's solid, kinda slow, and for some strange reason alot of apps says "device not compatible". But for 100 bones it's a good ereader and not bad for magazines, altho you really need a 10" tab for that IMO.

Own a Toshiba Thrive, Ipad with Retina, Prestiege 7Land 3 laptops plus numerous desktops and now this Asus and it performs very well so it is a keeper also.

This was a perfect tablet to buy for our 7 year old Grandson. It was much less expensive than tablets made exclusively for children - that don't get good reviews anyway. Now he can take part in "Technology Tuesdays" at his elementary school and do AR reading tests from home. He loves it!

this is a great tablet for what you pay. No it not a Ipad or transformer, but you not paying $500.00 either. So far I have bought 2 and got people to buy 3 more.

I bought this refurbished unit for my Mom in Taiwan so I can Skype with her. I tested it but was disappointed; the camera does not have good field or angle of view, and sound quality is poor.
