ReliOn A1c Test

I use this test because I want to verify or compare results with my regular lab work when my Dr orders it. Sort of like a second opinion. I read many users saying you can't get enough blood to fill the two circles. I have never had that problem. I just keep squeezing my finger until a good size drop falls in the center of the circles and thats all it takes. Make sure to rinse your hands with warm water first. And wait until you have a good size drop before you let it touch the circle right in the center. Results have always been received by email within 7 to 10 days. And once when I sent in a sample from a kit that had already expired they sent me a new kit for free. Totally satisfied with this product.

I was very impressed with the testing of Reli-On A1c test kits for the home. My doctor did not approve of it until I did a side by side testing, (out of the same blood drawl) one went to the hospital, and one went to Reli-on. Reli-on tested 7.1 and the hospital tested 7. So she approved the Reli-on kit and said she would share it with her patients so they could get in on the savings as well! I was impressed and am sorry to see this product go, but hopefully in the near future they will come back with the product! Always check on the bottom of the box for the expiration date. I bought one and it was out of date, but the Reli-on sent me a new box, no charge.

Easy to perform the test. Follow the instructions. All postage is Paid for you. A cheaper way to test your A1c.

Took over a week to get here. Postage was as much as the item. When it got here the box was smashed and missing parts. Also found out you still have to send it to a lab. So I went to my immediate care and it was done in 10 minutes and insurance paid for it. If the parts would have been there it would have taken about 3 weeks total time spent. Didn't bother to send it back because the whole process dealing with customer service was not worth the trouble!

The lab called and told me that the kit was expired and test is not valid. They will send another kit to me that I have not received yet ( 2 weeks. I am very disappointed from this purchase.
