Fisher-Price Medical Kit 7-Piece Doctor Toys Preschool Pretend Play Set for Ages 3+ years

Overall this is a cool pretend play toy that my 3 and 4 year olds both play with a good bit. My only real complaint is that the wire on the stethoscope will not stay inside of the plastic piece it's quite annoying to my kids and requires me to constantly tuck it back into the plastic piece. It has been like that since it first came out of the package so I'm assuming it's just a design flaw.

The instruments are very realistic and prepare little ones for what they would experience during a doctor's visit. Our grandchild loves this kit and gets it out each time they visit. I have to come up with a quick ailment so the exam can take place ( :

This brought back memories of the old school fisher price medical toy set I had as a little kid. Really cool set with lots of medical tools for kids to play with. Big hit.

We've had it for half a year and the stethoscope is still coiled up. (Photo to show how stiff it is) It never released from its box position. (might try boiling it...?) If you try to use it, it's so stiff that it pulls off of your ears. The shape of it is meant to look like a heart which means the angle of the ear buds don't even almost make it to your ears. My daughter doesn't even touch it because she just gets frustrated with it. The buds are actually painful. On our way to replace the whole kit now. I'm still giving 3 stars because every other item in the kit is pretty good. Especially for the price. But we are very disappointed with the stethoscope.

Seemed super cute and couldn't wait to let my son play with it. The stethoscope is supposed to make a heart beat sound. This worked 1 time. The thermometer is supposed to change "temperatures" when you push the button. This sticks and does not change. Very poorly made in these aspects. But still entertaining for my 3 year old. Wished the stethoscope feature would have continued to work.
