Lands End Mens Short Sleeve Comfort-First Mesh Polo Shirt

Happy with my two polos. Fit great, look polished. However: On opening, immediately noticed perfume/cologne smell. Popped one shirt out of bag, stronger odor. The shirt had no fold creases. Two hints this was not new. While I completely understand reselling returns, this shirt was not fit to repackage. Anyone with a nose would have pulled it. Poor experience any time, worse in a pandemic.

This shirt is well made. The thickness of the fabric is way thicker than most shirts costing way more. The stitching is the best I've seen in a shirt like this no matter the cost. The collar is not thin and doesn't sag like most brands. The buttons have extra stitching too. Unlike most brands this shirt is a little larger than most for a more comfortable fit.

The shirt itself is generally fine, the problem is that sizes are not consistent across the Lands End polo-shirt product line. This shirt - and the ones with different colors - are SIGNIFICANTLY bigger than other Lands End polo shirts. It is so large that it is wearable, but barely. Sizes for similar products across the organization need to be the same; or at least very similar.

Living in FL, finding heavier weights that drape but still breathe is crucial. Most Polos here are T-Shirts with collars and don't look good unless you're thin or really athletic, of which I am neither. Especially with sale pricing, this is one of the best values in men's clothing. You can dress down a more formal outfit or dress up a more casual one. This polo is at home in all appropriate settings.

I bought this polo for my son-in-law in the pink color. His Mom is a breast cancer survivor. He is a physical ed.teacher. He wears a pink polo every Thursday for his students to be aware of breast cancer. LE polos in any color are the best. Since they have added a little bit of stretch to them, they keep their shape much better than the plain cotton. You won't be disappointed in these polos. Give them a try!!!
