I really enjoy the flavor of the Ethical Bean original roast. Usually I tend toward dark roasts but this is really a great medium blend. I have been grinding this on the fine setting and using this in my refillable pod I use for my Keurig. It was a very bold yet mild coffee. It's great with a little sweetner or creamer. So, my husband and I are coffee shop owners. I'm pretty much the definition of a coffee snob. I'm used to fresh locally roasted coffee. So I might not be the best person to review this. Or maybe I am. I'm going to review this as if I'm looking for a store bought coffee. As far as that goes. The flavor is good. It smells amazing. However, after drinking this I got an instant head ache. I never get like this. I pretty much drink coffee every day. I'm not sure if it's the method it's roasted or what. Anyway, I'm not super fond of it. If your drinking for energy, it does supply that in abundance. I can drink a double shot of espresso and go take a nap but this kept me up all night.
