Thyme & Table Stoneware Drip Dinner Plate, Grey

The Thyme & Table Blue Drip Stoneware Dinner Plate really has a beautiful blue and cream coloring. It is well purposed for use a dinner plate, serving fruits, vegetables, salad, etc. It is sturdy, machine washable, did not have any chips or nicks. It is not light but it is not heavy either. The plates are easy to hold and stack if you have more than 1. I recommend the Thyme & Table Blue Drip Stoneware Dinner Plate.

This is a beautiful blue stoneware dinner plate from Thyme & Table. I had not used this brand before but I will after experiencing the craftsmanship and the quality. This plate isn't really heavy like the other stoneware dinner settings I've purchased in the past. They were big and awkward plus almost impossible to load into the dishwasher without tipping and shifting around. Also chipped very easily. I haven't had any problems while running through the dishwasher with these plates. The Thyme & Table have some heft but not too heavy for every day use. The glaze is so smooth and the colors are just amazing! I'm definitely not use to the high lip around the exterior edge. My normal plates are much more flat and shallow but this will not deter me from using them. The only drawback I have is that the underside of the plate has a ring of exposed stoneware that does not have glaze on it. It is very raw and rough and will cause scratching on certain surfaces. I use place mats so this will help that from happening but I may run a bead of clear fingernail polish around that exposed area to smooth it down. Beautiful design and looks like the hand thrown pottery you'd find at an art fair!

The Thyme & Table Blue Drip Stoneware Dinner Plate is a beautiful plate the coloring or design is just gorgeous. The plate has high sides on it which I really like and is very heavy as stoneware should be I wouldn't be afraid of it breaking if you accidently hit it against the sink. It washed up beautifully and when I put it in the microwave it retained the heat very well. It says it's oven proof but I haven't tried it in the oven. Overall it's definitely something that I want more of.

When I first saw this plate I guess I did not see the stoneware in the title so when I got it I was pleasantly surprised when it actually a quite hefty plate and not just a lightweight melamine. It is a good size. The best part that I love is that it is microwave safe and dishwasher safe. It is a very pretty color palate on the plate. I love the blue. I will have to find some more matching dishes.

Nice design & quality. The blue drip coloring is very attractive. There is a raised edge that is about 1/2 inch tall, so you can plate & not worry about juice or liquid pouring off of it. I used it as a serving dish with deviled eggs & it easily held about 18 halves, nicely held in place by the rim. Sturdy & has some weight, but not too much.
