Thyme & Table Reusable Peva Storage Bags, 6-Piece Set

These are great! I am trying to get better about reusing storage bags instead of using a new ziplock bag each time. I use these for all types of things including food, makeup, chargers, nailpolish, medicine, airplane storage, etc. These are much better than other brands I have purchased! Easy to clean which is a huge plus for me!

Pros: *They're really, really cute *They feel great to the touch (soft & cushy) *They're recyclable Cons: *They're hand wash only *They're pretty small *The seal isn't perfect I was underwhelmed by these bags. Since they're "hand wash only", I wouldn't want to store any sort of oily food in them. Hand washing sausage grease off of plastic--no thank you. I did go ahead and do a top rack dishwasher test of one of the bags. It warped, slightly molded to the shape of the dishwasher prongs, and no longer zips properly. (See photo) When I did a seal test on one of the large bags, it felt very securely closed. Unfortunately, when half filled with water and turned upside down, it had slow drips at both corners. This wouldn't bother me for storing cooked solid food, but I wouldn't want to try storing the next day's raw chicken breast in there. I also wouldn't want to risk freezer burn by using it in the freezer. They are surprisingly small. I could fit ONE sweet potato in the largest bag. (See photo) In short, I wouldn't recommend them to a friend because I can't think of anything I'd find them useful for other than storing cookies, school/office/art supplies, or a few cosmetics. Plus, since they are made out of the same material as shower curtains, I wouldn't suggest using it for the last few because the plastic would likely wear out. So, basically, I think they're good for cookies.

I was excited to get these because my family Has been trying to reduce single use plastics But other products didn't work very well and Ended up wasting a lot of food. These bags work great. They have thick walls and zip closed pretty well. The cons are that they are oddly difficult to get clean and although the bags don't tear, they are starting to get pitted and picked with tiny holes and gouges.

Love the Idea of saving on zip locks and using reusable bags. Dont like cleaning them so much- being extra careful to clean and sanitize a bag is not easy. The close very well. I tend to use these for other things like keeping things organized. Such as craft paint brushes all in the same pouch. Bathroom items such as hair clips all in one bag. ETC! They come in 3 nice sizes to meet your needs and the material is wonderful, soft supple and thick not flimsy. You get 6 pieces in 3 sizes too!

These bags are such a great addition to my storage options! The bags are made for kitchen use, but i've already found uses for them in my beach bag to store sunscreen, books and sunglasses, as well as sandwiches, grapes and cookies. There are 3 sizes in the set, 2 of each size--- very generous! These plastic storage bags are thick and flexible, so I can put all sizes and shapes in them---very handy! I can put them in the freezer which is great for leftovers --- they aren't microwave or dishwasher safe, but they're reusable so save lots of single-use storage bags from going into landfills. I look forward to giving sets of these versatileThyme&Table reusable storage bags as gifts!
