Thyme & Table Stainless Steel Four Sided Box Grater, 2 Piece Set

I VERY much like all the different sizes for grating. I needed a fine grate, but my old time box grater just let you have med or extra fine (could be used for baby food). I have made some carrot cake jam %26 look to make more, so I'm glad I don't have to spend extra time on the extra fine grate. Quality is no different than my OLD box grater, so that's a bonus. Not sure about all the plastic parts (reason for 4 stars), but if it grates like I want, all will be good in the world.

I've probably used close to a dozen different graters and have owned about 5 different graters. I grate a lot of different types of cheese and I can safely say that this is definitely one of the best I have used. It is built very solidly, it is stable with an easy to grip handle, and has 4 different sizes for grating different types of cheese. You may not use all of them, but it's nice to have options. The container that can be attached to the bottom to collect the grated cheese is a nice option. It's not quite as stable when using the container, but still pretty good. The container easily stores inside the grater when it's not being used. Hard to find a downside to this grater other than it is a little pricey, but if you grate a lot of cheese, it is well worth the price.

Absolutely love this grater. The plastic bottom bowl attaches with ease to keep the mess confined to the grater. What an awesome idea. The grater is very sharp. My teenage kids no longer mind hand grating cheese. And it washes with ease. Highly recommend this grater

Compared to my old box grater this one is a Cadillac! The handle is very comfortable and the removable rubber gasket on the bottom helps stabilize the grater on any surface. The container with the lid is an added bonus and also fits inside the bottom of the grater for storage. I love it!

I guess I'm easily amused, because I think this box grater is so neat! It grates cheese and shreds vegetables as I would expect, but the detachable storage container makes this product a home-run. All of the pieces are top rack dishwasher safe, so that helps make cleaning up a breeze. The handle is nicely rounded, so when grating for a longer period of time, holding the grater doesn't become uncomfortable. The plastic around the edges is a nice feature. Not only is it a pretty color, but it serves a purpose because I haven't noticed any signs of rust (my other graters that are 100% stainless steel have rusted at the bottoms where the edges meet).
