Made By Me Knitting Machine & Project Booklet, 1 Each

When we finally figured out how to work the machine to make a scarf if came out all full of bare spots. It will not knit with regular yarn, locks up and stops working. I have a very disappointed daughter.

The instructions are very non specific & i managed to break it the first time using it. All in all im very disapointed. I should have saved up for a better machine this one is not worth the money

I returned it... kept dropping stitches every time

I would think Red Heart would think twice before adding their name to this horrible product. I would leave ZERO stars, but that was not an option. No matter what you do, the machine skips stitches, and misses half of the time. There was no way that I would let her use this, as it was even frustrating for me.

DOES NOT WORK. I have tried to use this item with my 11 year old daughter, but no matter what type of yarn we use or how slow or fast - It automatically unravels. There are no loops to sew up, the fun fur yarn hides anything that resembles the loops that you should sew up. Regular yarn gets caught in the tiny hooks and it creates a knot. This unit drops 3 stitches consistently in a row ( i didn't know what a dropped stitch was until i read others reviews). Basically it winds a wad of yarn and hacks it out of the bottom. The worst part about this purchase is - I think I paid more than the list price at Walmart. I will locate my receipt and take this horrible Christmas present back to Walmart. I feel horrible that my daughter received this for Christmas - I guess I should have bought an electronic device instead. Parents are criticized for purchasing electronics or games - so we try to do better by purchasing a crafty item - this crafty item stinks :( BOO red heart. Maybe there is a knitting app that the children will have more fun with... They love the pottery app that I found on the app store. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT FOR YOUR CHILD - WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY...
