Doritos 3D Crunch Three Cheese Flavored Corn Snacks, 6 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw that the 3D doritos were back I was stoked, but after purchasing both flavors, I was highly disappointed. These are nothing like the original at all! My suggestion would be to bring back the original 3D cheese doritos

This product is hands down a 10 for Me. I waited years for them to for them to come back and I bought them five or six at a time. I'm really upset because now I can't find them anywhere at all. I was going to the store at the store. I wish I could just buy them from the website or something bc the taste is so nostalgic.

My husband was so stoked when he saw these in the store. He was like “yes the 90s snacks are coming back”. Well little did he realize that they are chili cheese and not regular nacho cheese. They tasted like stale chili cheese bugels they were nothing like the 3D Doritos from the 90s unfortunately. The chili taste is the after taste by the way you only taste cheese corn chips at first then the chili comes after. We both stopped eating them after a few bites and threw the bag out.

Were Dorito eaters in my family, so when I saw these it was a no-brainer. They are triangular-dome shaped its very cool and I like the size they are 1-2bites depending how you like it. These taste just like the original Dorito but thats my opinion, my daughter said these are a little more cheesy than original Dorito, & my other half said they had a little spice to it/A little Kick if you would. So with all that you might be even more confused about the taste but thats the best I can do. I will buy these again we always have 3-4 chips open at the same time because we like to have options. Doritos is and will always be one of my favs. As a kid I remember my dad had us in weekends and wasn't much of a cook and one day decided to lay the Doritos flat all over a oven pan. Keeping the chips touching just slightly then used sliced American cheese and added the cheese evenly over all of the chips, then putting it in the oven at 350 for 4-5mins or until all of the cheese is melted. He called it poor mans nachos and to this day I still like it like that I don't eat it that way often but We still do make it.

I give these a 2.5 but I cannot rate it this way with stars. The first flavor that comes to mind are Bugles. Second, I taste a light hint of spicy chili and an even lighter hint of nacho cheese. These did not have the bold flavor I expect from the Doritos brand. I'm upset because I'm debating about tossing them in the trash. It's as though someone took plain Bugles, opened a Fritos Chili Cheese bag, and threw them inside, tossed them around and threw them into a Doritos bag with a little spice. These aren't good. They are bland. I tried one, then another, and then did not want anymore, unlike with Cool Ranch or Nacho Cheese Doritos, which are more addicting and have a bolder taste.
