What initially drew my towards this system was the blue ray player. As long as you have it set up to the inernet whether it be wired or wirelessly, you can play online for free unlike xbox 360 where you have to pay for an xbox live subscription. I also like that I can surf the internet on my hdtv with this system.

I guess I got what I paid for when I took the "Site to Store" Shipping method which offered free shipping. I ordered my PS3 the first week of June and I picked it up the last day of the month. I ordered games a few days after the system and received them a week before the system showed up. Other than the shipping issues, you can't beat the PS3 w/$100 gift card deal for $400.

This is an awesome machine, I have the xbox360 120gb but I like the ps3 better. Internet ready, just plug in the power cord and you're ready to play on line. The blu-ray dvd is nice. This machine can be upgraded to the latest configuration on line. This is a future proof blu-ray dvd player. Forget about buying a separate blu-ray player, this ps3 does it all, and better.

I bought it when Wali was giving $100 gift cards with any bluray purchase; therefore it made this purchase a really good one. I don’t care about PS2 compatibility and for the most part I don’t care about all the other differences in the PS3 higher models. Although I would be lying if I didn’t say I wish it had a bigger hard drive. The cool thing is that you can upgrade the hard drive later if you ever need to. Overall, it was a really good product for the money.

For months I wasn't sure if I was going to buy the PS3, Wii, or Xbox. I was leaning towards the PS3 but the $399 price was a little steep for me but when Walmart offered a $100 gift card, I couldn't pass it up. I bought it immediately and love this system. I own the original Playstation console so I knew the PS3 system was going to be awesome. Plus, the PS3 console also plays BluRay Discs so now I don't have to go out and buy a BluRay player.
