Kid Connection Monster Truck Play Set (7 Pieces)

My three year old daughter was super happy to receive the Kid Connection Monster Truck Playset! She is a dinosaur lover and was so excited to have some dinosaurs on wheels! Unfortunately, we quickly found out that this set was not easy to use for her age. The interchangeable monster truck tops do not just simply pop on and off. You must line up and hook a tab on one side and then push in a tab on the other side to connect it into place. This was very hard for my three year old. I double checked the age recommendation, and it does say three and up, but I do not agree with that recommendation. I said aloud, “She is going to break this quickly.” It didn't even last 30 minutes. She forced the top and caused the tab and screw to come off. All that being said, these would be great for an older child. They are super cute, fun to play with, and built well - for an older child. Even the lining up of the tabs is great for an older child or a child who is ready to take on that extra challenge. I still wish that these had been designed with a top that just pops on and off.

The grandson loves them. Especially being able to switch the body of trucks around. I'm worried about them switching them and breaking clips but so far so good. No breakage.

Honestly these are the perfect combination of monsters and trucks and if you're a boy or girl who loves monsters and trucks that makes these the perfect set of trucks. They seem sturdy so they will last a while.
