BROTHER DCPL2540DW PRI 110V

This printer doesn't work! It stays on deep sleep mode no matter what you do. I've had the software downloaded a couple of times, to no avail. I have been a brother supporter for years, but this experience has ended that. Don't buy this printer!

I'm so frustrated with this product, and with Brother. It is impossible to find someone to talk to. This is a new printer, and it won't print. It printed when it was first set up, but now it will copy, but not print or scan. You have the headings of SUPPORT, but do not provide support. I've been going in circles trying to fit in my information about the printer in your boxes for a live chat, and my details are not accepted when it comes to adding DCP-L2540DW. Your idea of Support is a SCAM. I dare you to add my review to your Review section.

I have installed numerous printers at home, Samsung, HP, Canon and this Brother printer is the worst to set up. I have been at it for 5 full days and no luck. There is no 1.800 # in Canada only in the USA. You have to use a chat function that you wait up to 30 minutes on hold to enter the chat and the chat function is no help. The install is very tech complicated. I should not have to enter the IP address of my printer into the install program. No other printer I have installed at home requires that. Do not buy this unless you want to be frustrated and disappointed.

Easy setup. No issues. Ships from BC, so I took 5 days, which was less than originally stated. This replaces a similar Brother printer at lasted 14 years.

I really like this printer. It's quieter than my older one was, has multiple features in addition to the laser printing, such as a scanner and copy-feed, and it's wireless.
