Avalon Organics Therapy Medicated Anti-Dandruff Conditioner, 14 fl oz

I'm trying to move towards more natural things for my body and the environment. But this conditioner doesn't feel like a commercial conditioner in my hands, nor does my hair feel...conditioned. The fragrance is pleasant, not over the top, not muted, but subtle. The consistency is also a bit runnier than it's commercial cousins, felt like I needed a handful of the stuff to manage coverage. And for at least on my scalp, the salicylic acid didn't help.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Avalon Organics Medicated Anti-Dandruff Conditioner has added dandruff protection but in the form of conditioner. It has 2% Salicylic acid, Aloe Vera, Tea tree, chamomile and essential oils that help with dandruff control. I have found with some Anti-Dandruff Condtioners they aren't very moisturizing and leave my hair with a film, this product actually leaves moisture and I have curly hair, so moisture is important. The smell is interesting with Tea tree and Chamomile.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never heard of this brand before, but my sister & I both have dry scalp/dandruff issues so we are always looking for products that might help. The typical store/name brands only help slightly & are most likely full of chemicals. This Avalon Organics has been great in the month we have used it! It is organic, non GMO, not tested on animals & has natural essential oils! I can smell the tea tree & to me it smells somewhat like chamomile also. It's not the greatest scent but it doesn't bother either of us. It works really well for us! She has long hair & mine is short, but we are Native American & have very thick course hair. It removes lots of flakes, leaves our hair feeling soft & moisturized & has really stopped the itch overall! It's a great natural dandruff conditioner solution.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avalon Organics Medicated Anti-Dandruff Conditioner contains 2% salicylic acid that controls flaking, scaling and itching associated with dandruff, for best result use it twice per week. it's made with aloe vera, tea tree, chamomile and essentials oils to work to treat and prevent dandruff. The formula is creamy and work great on my hair, I saw an improvement about my flaking off. The only thing I would change is the scent, a bit strong for me but I think other people will stand it, the conditioner formula is great and really works!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As much as I wanted to love this and as much as I expected a medicated smell...this was too overwhelming. The smell was really off putting and too strong for me to want to leave it in my hair. For me even having bad dry scalp and flake issues, would not recommend this to someone who has trouble with strong smells.
