Interdental instrument such as this should be right angle, but yet only the stick handle ones are sold in stores. The "moderate" thickness of the wire brush works well for me, and the metal stiffness is a good compromise between the "thin" one which bends easily (and thus, break off from fatigue) and the very thick ones for wide gaps.
These brush heads are at a 90 degree angle to the handle which makes it so easy for maneuvering into the spaces between all of your teeth. I've had two perfect checkups since I started using these. I still floss first, but the Plackers get to back teeth so much easier and you can insert them on both sides of the tooth, which helps you get every last possible thing out from between them.
I used to buy these at Publix in Jacksonville Fl but they stopped selling them recently. I find these brushes to fit perfectly in my mouth and are the best for getting the leftovers from hard to reach spaces. I will buy these as long as you make them.
I love this product because to me it's superior to the other proxy or interdental brushes out there. The handle combined with an angled brush makes it practically easier to get between teeth father back in your mouth. The thickness of the brush is perfect, small enough to get between pretty tightly packed teeth but strong enough not to fall apart after one use. The length of the brushes is (or seems) longer than some, which gives more clearance through the spaces.
I found these about a year ago after my dentist made a comment about a soft area between some of my teeth. On my next visit I asked about improvement, and she was very impressed. I love the angled brush over the straight brush. My only negative is I can't fine the angle brushes in any stores and had to order then from Plackers.
