Align Probiotic Supplement Chewable Tablets, Banana Strawberry Smoothie 24 ea (Pack of 2)

The Align Chewables were fine but the fact that they aren't backed by the FDA leaves me weary. I don't plan to continue using them once they run out and won't be buying them again in the foreseeable future. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I tried out the Align Chewables Probiotic Supplement... first of all I'd like to mention that the product name doesn't stick in my mind, I had to check the name 3 times to write it accurately in this review and review title - it should be Align Probiotic Chewables (the wording is odd and the word "supplement" is redundant, I know this is a supplement so include the word on the box but not in the "product title".) The taste was actually good but it only tasted like banana - no strawberry flavor to be found. The chewable was larger than I expected, but it was quick to chew and left no after taste or chalky residue in my mouth. Also, the foil packaging was terrible - something that should have been so easy was simply too hard to get out, I had to use scissors on the first chewable. The foil package itself is not very strong, it is not rigid enough to then peel the paper off properly to expose the chewable. I did appreciate the idividual foil packaging for each chewable. Even the resealable tab on top of the box wasn't great, the packaging needs improvements. I did not notice any changes positive or negative while taking this, with that said I'm not sure that I'd purchase it for myself or recommend it to others. These Align Chewable Probiotics (specifically in the strawberry banana flavor) ended up quickly becoming a must have for my medicine cabinet. Ever since beginning these I've had less stomach upsets, easier time going and just overall felt an increase in wellbeing. Nothing else has done that for me, not even other products that made claims for less! I took this once a day upon waking. The flavor is akin to a snack while the texture is in between chalky and brittle. The size is a bit large which makes chewing the whole tablet a bit unwieldy at times so some days I'd throw it in with a shake in the blender and still noticed the benefits (great if you don't enjoy the taste or want a quick way to take these as they're definitely not to be swallowed). I raved about these so much my husband went out and bought his own, which I'm happy to hear the availability and accessibility is easy and not a goose chase. I've seen advertisements about Align and was a bit skeptical but was willing to try. My crazy work schedule, stress and eating habits have changed in the last few weeks and Align seemed to help balance everything out. I'm glad I tried the product. Two thumbs up! I am very impressed with this product. I some times get acid reflux after eating certain spicy foods. Since taking this probiotic supplement, it has helped me to maintain a healthy digestive system. I gave my best friend some to try and she was amazed at how good she felt as she too gets acid reflux. We are both sold on this product and will buy it for our stomach.
