SheaMoisture Peace Rose Sensitive Skin Face Mud Mask, 6 oz

This product is ironic because it says its for sensitive skin but instead it overly irrates the skin to the point that you look sunburnt after use. I would not recommend this formulation and product to anyone especially to someone with sensitive skin. Such a bummer! I hope I am able to return it to the store I got it from. Ugh.

I love this mask. It smells just like roses - which I love love love! But what I love most about it is how it really helped reduce inflammation, redness, size, and tenderness of the cystic acne on my chin. Its difficult to find something that works this well for that type of acne because its not treated very well with basic acne fighting cleansers. I have a trip to Florida coming up and I'm SO THANKFUL for this product. I just put a generous amount on, leave it on about 10 minutes after its completely dry and then follow with lavender oil after its washed off and my face lotion meant to help clear pimples. Thank you thank you thank you!!! Within a day of doing this regimen, I saw results. I'm absolutely amazed.

I purchased this product because I have sensitive skin on my face. I thought it would be effective and calm the irritation down. Instead, this product made it worse and it burned very bad. I will discontinue using this product. This product has fragrance which should not be in a sensitive skin product.

It took me awhile to find the right mud mask that didn't irritate my face but this one is SO good! After the gym, my face turns really red and my pores become enlarged but I put this on after a good shower and my face looks so beautiful. I have been using this mask for 3 months and my skin has never looked so good. It does have a sensation at first but once I wash it off it feels really cool. I look forward to trying out the other types of mud masks.

FIRST OFF I WANT TO SAY THAT I LOVE YOU HAIR PRODUCTS AND IT IS ALL I USE AND THEY SEEM TO ACTUALLY WORK, BUT BUYING THIS MASK WAS A TOTAL LET DOWN:( WHEN PURCHASING THE PRODUCT I WAS VERY EXCITED TO USE IT, BECAUSE AS A PERSON WITH SENSITIVE SKIN IT IS VERY HARD TO FIND SOMETHING THAT SMELLS GOOD AND DOESN'T CAUSE YOUR SKIN TO BREAKOUT. WHEN OPENING THE PACKAGE I LOVED LOVED LOVED THE SMELL BUT WHILE APPLYING TO MY FACE IT WAS TOO STRONG. EVEN AFTER THE MASK WAS WASHED OFF THE SMELL LEFT ON MY FACE WAS STILL WAY TOO STRONG. AS SOON AS I APPLIED IT TO MY FACE IT I INSTANTLY STARTED TO FEEL A BURNING SENSATION, BECAUSE IT WAS MY FIRST TIME EVER DOING A MASK I THOUGHT THIS WAS NORMAL BUT THE BURNING FEELING WAS JUST TO STRONG SO I IMMEDIATELY WASHED IT OFF. I CANT TELL YOU GUYS HOW MY SKIN FELT BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE IT ON LONG ENOUGH TO GET AN END RESULT :( TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY...NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR SENSITIVE SKIN PEOPLE.
