Mega Bloks 100-Piece Construction Blocks

My nephew is two and he loved these blocks. His brother is nine and he would always try to use his legos and had trouble useing them. I brought him these blocks because I thought these would be easier for him to use. He is very happy now that he can build things just like his brother.

The pieces were mostly single blocks, which means it is hard to build anything except really tall columns. They do not fit very well together either. In the end, they aren't very useful blocks and seemed to just be what they swept up off the factory floor.

This package is great for the price. It includes a lot of different pieces, which is great for kids' imagination. The only thing is that the pieces are somewhat thin, and they might break easily. I stepped on one by mistake and it lost its shape. That said, given the number of pieces, it's not such a big deal.

I originally set out to buy some blocks for my 20 month old daughter but twenty bucks for a small bag of blocks did not seem worth it. Well I came across this on line the only difference in the two was this was twice as cheap and had more blocks. There was no case though. It was a win, win situation for me as I made her a little box as a storage and she loves them very much. This was an awesome buy.

My 3 year old loves to play with her Mega-blocks. This set of 100 was super cheap and a great value for the price. The pieces are lots of different shapes and colors. We have had hours of fun creating all kinds of things. They come in a pretty durable Ziploc bag. It is a bit bulky for storage but the blocks could certainly be stored in a new container of your choice. Overall, Great!
