Great Value Heavy Whipping Cream, 16 oz Carton, Refrigerated

Great Value heavy whipping cream is always consistently good and a good value. The best by dates are usually well over a month out. That results in this being exceptionally helpful and flavorful addition to coffee, especially when run out of milk or past milk expiration date. Whipping with sugar, vanilla extract results in excellent whipped cream. Can also freeze for ice cream, which can be much lighter if blended with half and half.

This is a pint of heavy cream . Recently I have been unable to find this size-as my stores seem to either be sold out of this size-as i only find the quart size available and it goes to waste as it is not used in time -so i prefer this pint size and i always find it available at Walmart-so it is one of my preferred items with my Walmart orders. I love the Walmart account and I have been using it since it's inception-as it saves me lots of time and money ! I tell all my friends how easy it really is and the many MANY features that you get along with the convenance !

I usually buy this brand and find it works great for everything I use it in. I opened this carton 2 days after it was delivered and it was clabbered. Yes, I refrigerated it as soon as it arrived. I didn't realize it was bad until I poured it into my sauce pan and clumps came out causing me to have to discard my sauce and start again. I'll probably try it again but I'll smell it first before pouring it into any food item.

As a senior with limited income, I've come to realize buying cream with an extended use by date, is less expensive than buying milk. I don't tend to drink milk but need it for cereal, baking, sauces, coffee,etc. By watering down the cream to fit each need, I am able to to use the cream for an extended length of time with out wasting any and meeting all my needs.

Google the nutritional value of Great Value heavy whipping cream and compare it to another store brand heavy whipping cream. Differences in nutritional value are insignificant. I am not Gordon Ramsey or some other renowned chef with a silver palate, but I can discern no difference in taste. I can, however, discern a noticeable difference in my wallet at the checkout stand!
