great paddle for the price.
I replaced a Daytripper paddle with the Shoreline paddle. It is not as well built, but then again It is also not as expensive, and it gets the job done.
As good if not better than the $60 to $80 paddles found at the sporting goods stores. Walmart said it would take a week to arrive site to store, but I got it in three days.
Not only is the price exceptional but the product is as well. I have compared this to paddles costing more than twice the price and this paddle is as good or better. The length gives you a longer power stoke and the adjustable blade angle provides an adjustable angle of attack that is customized to your stroke. My only concern is durability. Only time will tell but it seems sturdy enough.
Haven't had a chance to use yet but really I like the build quality of this paddle. It seems to be fairly light but I don't have numbers to compare it with other paddles. I also like the padded grips. The down side of light is the shaft is light and appears it wouldn't be hard to bend or break. I would not trust this paddle in the ocean or far from shore on a large lake. However, it my be fine for my use. Shoreline, even on it's own website does a really poor job of describing the differences and specs of paddles they make.
