I have thinning hair also now colored so dry on the ends. The shampoo smells very nice and light, it cleans out any products you have in your hair and in the case of the hard water in my house, actually made my hair shiny again. . It is the only gentle shampoo that actually strips down my hair like this, usually I have to use filtered water to rinse my hair, not with this. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

An all natural product that actually lives up to its promises and doesn't cost enough to clear out your wallet. I am letting my hair grow out and it's in that scraggly what the heck faze. It also undergoes daily abuse from the sun for hours as well as the hair dryer on hot and casino nastiness. This product (with the conditioner) actually had my hair feeling softer and it looked fuller after the first use. It was as if my hair was breathing and saying "thank you". Watch out overpriced (to pay scripted actors) so called natural hair products like wen.... here is Burt's Bees!!!

This is probably my favorite smelling shampoo ever. And I do mean ever. I fell in love with the scent immediately. Unfortunately, the product itself failed to live up to the same standards. My hair was never clean when I used this shampoo- my mother and various other female relatives would tell me after I used this shampoo that my hair look 'stringy' or 'dirty'. It felt abnormal as well, not the crisp, clean feeling I had been looking forward to. Next to no lather, and it simply wasn't doing the job. I ended up switching back to my old shampoo and saw immediate improvement. I wish I could love this shampoo, I really do. The scent is to die for. But I wouldn't recommend using it because it fails in its most basic function: keeping hair clean.

Yup, as some of the other reviews here say, the consistency/later is a bit strange. One of the aspects of a natural product. It goes on fairly well in my fine hair though. Only having used it a few times, I suspect I'll get used to it and be able to give it 5 stars?

Recently I've switched to natural products and am so happy I tried Burt's Bees! The Pomegranate & Soy shampoo/conditioner make such a difference with my hair. I've tried other shampoos with protein and usually get that "stripped" feeling in the shower. The difference is that Burt's Bees shampoo and conditioner work so well, that I have only soft, shiny hair in the end- no frizziness. No styling products needed! And that's coming from a girl who previously used a lot of product! Love the fragrance, too.
