Pitcher does the job. Replacing the filter is easy. The body is durable for years of use. Lid is loose and come off easily, and leaks while pouring. I had a Brita Grand 10 cup and loved it. It saves money not using bottled water and saves recycling all those plastic bottles. It's a little difficult to remove the part inside to clean, which is how I unfortunately broke my first pitcher. But it is a great way to have fresh, cold, filtered water. Just bought today, unfortunately it doesn't have the locking lid like is shown on the website and the lid doesn't fit right. Also, how do you clean the picture when you can't remove the reservoir? Am I missing something? Does a great job at filtering the water but the items mentioned above are a deal breaker for me..... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We bought the Grand Pitcher a few months ago. Huge mistake. This thing looks pretty but that is about all this pitcher has going for it. The lid does not "lock" in place so when I pour water into a glass it will slide off and water splashes everywhere. The filter does not stay in place when the water level is high letting the unfiltered water leak into the filtered water thus defeating the entire reason for using a filtered pitcher in the first place. As soon as I have used all of the replacement filters, this thing is history.

I love the product. You do have to wait for water to filter thru from the top then add more water to top & wait. The lid hasn't fallen off yet while pouring but it is not a tight fit. Green light does not come on like it is suppose too. Love the taste of my water now. It works. I'm happy with it.
